Coding For Kids

Tuesday, May 1st at 3-4 PM. Ages 8-11

Kids will learn how to make their own interactive stories and animations using code from Scratch Jr. and Hopscotch computer programs. Pre-registration is required. Please call the library at 244-7036 to register. 

 

Lego Challenge: Insects!

Tuesday, May 8th at 3-4 PM. Ages 8-11

Strengthen your STEM muscles and spark your imagination with an abundance of Lego bricks. Pre-registration is required. Please call the library at 244-7036 to register. 

 

Paper Quilling

Tuesday, May 15th at 3-4 PM. Ages 8-11

Quilling starts with rolling a strip of paper into a coil and then pinching the coil into shapes that can be glued together to create decorative designs. Kids will be making a card using this type of design. Pre-registration is required. Please call the library at 244-7036 to register. 

littleBits

Tuesday, May 22nd – 3-4 PM. Ages 8-11

This littleBits creations program is designed for youth to both learn about and explore STEAM concepts and 21st century skills. littleBits are kits that are composed of electronic building blocks that are color-coded, magnetic, and make complex technology simple and fun. Together they’re interchangeable in millions of different ways to empower youth to invent anything. Pre-registration is required. Please call the library at 244-7036 to register.
