Summer Qi Gong & Tai Chi in the Garden

Join us this summer for two new movement classes! Please note that these are two separate classes and you will need to register for each individually.

 

Summer Qi Gong (held in the SAL room inside)

Wednesdays June 13th – August 1st,  11-11:45 (no class July 4th)

Qi Gong is designed to promote well-being, energy, strength and balance through gentle movements and breath.

Kenneth Russell leads a summer 7 week Qi Gong session.

All levels welcome.  Sign up for each class.  Limited to 12 participants.

Walk-ins welcome if there is room.

Tai Chi in the Garden (held outside)

Wednesdays June 13th – July 18th,  12 – 1 pm (no class July 4th)

Tai Chi promotes active relaxation, balance & strength with gentle intentional movement and breath. Outdoor practice draws on the beauty and peacefulness of nature.

This Level 3 Class, led by Certified Instructor, Meg Baldor builds on previous classes offered at the library, with fall-prevention movements  and mindful walking practice incorporated.

All levels and walk-ins welcome.  In case of inclement weather, class will be held in the SAL room.
