Requesting library items

You can request items in any of the following ways:

Search our catalog and place a hold online. This is a good option if you have specific titles in mind.

Go to https://waterbury.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl?has-search-query=.

To sign in to your library account, use your 14 digit library card number as your username (no spaces) and the last 5 digits as your PIN.

Once you are signed in, you can search our catalog using the search bar at the top of the page.

When you have found your item in the catalog, click “place hold”. Make sure to click “Confirm Hold” on the next screen.

Email requests (including interlibrary loans) to info@waterburypubliclibrary.com. You can submit specific requests, or just let us know generally what you are looking for.

Call us at 244-7036.

Once we have your item ready, you will get an email or phone call. Your hold will be checked out and waiting for you in a bag in the vestibule.

Mon. 10-5, Tues. & Thurs. 3-6, Wed. 10-8, and Sat. 9-1.

Grab it and go.
